Village officials expressed support for the project at a meeting last week which would see the supermarket open at 333 North Bedford Road, opposite Staples on the Diamond Brothers property.

The 70,000 square foot supermarket would be relocated from its Bedford Hills location, also on Route 117.

The current zoning does not permit a supermarket but Planning Board trustee Ralph Vigliotti, Mayor Gina Picinich, and Trustee Peter Grunthel all expressed their support for a zoning change, according to The Examiner.
